SPONSORED HAIR CUT
You may not recognize Torvil Romeis next Sunday! He’s having his hair cut off for charity on 8th November, to raise money for the Bobby Moore Fund which helps cancer victims. All those lovely curls are going to be put to good use and sent off to a company making wigs for children who have lost their hair. If you would like to donate something to support this brave lad (you should have chosen the summer months Torvil), please see Torvil or Karyn Romeis.
TOUGH TALK will be at King John School, Thrapston, on Saturday November 22nd at 7.30 pm. Power lifters, body builders, ex-bouncers and debt collectors tell amazing stories of how they came to Jesus. Tickets are £3 each (£2 for children and students) Check out the poster on the board at the back.
The STREET NATIVITY in the town centre on Christmas Eve will start at the new time of 2.00 pm.
Wellingborough Council has initiated a BIG TIDY UP. The scheme aims to motivate local people to volunteer to take action to reduce littering in their neighbourhoods. The Council will promote all community groups taking part in The Big Tidy Up through its Link Magazine (distributed to all residents in the Borough) as champions for environmental improvement. Does anyone want to draw a group together from church to take part? It would bless our community and show the town that the church is on the map! You can find out more by visiting www.thebigtidyup.org. Mary has the Council letter giving more detail.
