Reachout Community Church, Wellingborough
Reachout Community Church, formally the Wellingborough Christian Centre, is an Assemblies of God Pentecostal Church based in Wellingborough, Northants, UK. It is a thriving, vibrant and relevant Church with a congregation that is very diverse, representing a wide range of ages, cultures and backgrounds, all an integral part of the church.
At RCC we seek to provide a place where people can grow and develop as Christians. We are clear about our role in the community and are dedicated to being a people who live by uncompromising faith.
The church building is modern and well-furnished and currently has an approximate capacity of 400 people. It is the 'resource centre' to our family of three other churches, located in the nearby villages of Irthlingborough, Irchester and Rothwell.
Reachout Community Church, Irthlingborough
Reachout Community Church, Irthlingborough came into existence in 1992 when a team of people from Wellingborough felt the call of God on their lives to build church in Irthlingborough. Initially there was a small group of people meeting in houses and the local school, but later were able to purchase an old Co-Op shop in Allen Road and transform it into 'church'. The congregation now numbers 80+ and is currently looking for new premises. The church has a full weekly programme for all ages and it meets on Sunday evenings at 5.00 pm. and in small groups through the week.
Reachout Community Church, Irchester
This is a newer congregation than Irthlingborough, and it has been in existence since 1999. Again, the church is housed in what was previously a shop in the High Street. The congregation currently numbers about 25+ and there is a weekly programme of Bible study, Mums and Tots, youth and children's work The Sunday service is at 5.00 pm.
Reachout Community Church, Rothwell
Not in a shop this time! This small congregation is a little different to our other churches because in 2002 Reachout Community Church, Wellingborough was asked to re-open a church that had closed. Under the leadership of Paul and Zoe Rhodes a small team moved into the well maintained building seeking to re-establish a church in this historic village.
Czechowice and Pszczyna, Poland
Currently we are involved in a church planting project in Southern Poland. Andrzej Luber is the leader of this group of people. Andrzej has many years of pastoral experience and with his team of co-workers will work to see these new churches flourish.
The town of Czechowice has a population of 30,000 and Pszczyna 25,000. Neither of these towns has a strong evangelical church. Our vision is to see a strong and vibrant church established in these localities.
